Service Description

Join The Sushi Class, Amid Terrain, and Mr. Cats Coffee for a one-of-a-kind outdoor experience that combines hiking, matcha, and sushi rolling with incredible mountain views. We’ll begin the morning with handcrafted matcha pour-overs from Mr. Cats Coffee from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Afterward, we’ll hit the trail and hike the beautiful Mohawk Mountain & Pinnacle Loop via Mohawk Pond, taking in scenic views as we make our way to our mountaintop sushi destination. Once we reach the summit area, we’ll transform the outdoors into our sushi studio and enjoy The Sushi Class’s signature hands-on experience surrounded by nature. Each participant will receive their own backpack-friendly sushi kit, including a bamboo rolling mat, cutting board, seaweed, soy sauce, napkin, ingredients for 1 California roll, and a pair of custom-branded The Sushi Class chopsticks to keep. Our chefs will provide all sushi ingredients and guide you step-by-step as you learn to roll delicious sushi while enjoying some of the best views Connecticut has to offer.
